Star Specialist Hospital regularly engages in various activities aimed to empowering the community, our Hospital staff, occasional giveaways to our patients and many more activities.

Urology Clinics
Mr. JJ Thakkar
Mr. Thakkar has been in practice for 22 years, and he holds an MBBS from the University of Mysore and FRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons. He has formerly worked in different capacities at Agakhan Hospital, Sligo General Hospital, Our Lady County Surgical Hospital, Bristol Royal Infirmary, and Musgrove Park Hospital in Somerset.
With a niche in Minimal Invasive Surgery (MIS) he attends monthly surgeries at Star Specialist Hospital where he performs surgery on patients with different Urological problems ranging from Gallstone and Kidney stones removal to treatment of early detected Prostate Cancer.

Star Specialist Hospital holds periodic Medical Outreaches in a bid to help eradicate common problems affecting the residents of Malindi town and the greater Kilifi County.
It is our hope that one day we can have a healthy community around Star Specialist Hospital.

Since the COVID-19 Pandemic, we saw the need to reach out and offer preliminary general checkups. This was to help sensitize the community on social distancing practices, COVID-19 prevention and management.

Popular known as the Star Specialist Family, the Hospital administration organizes social programs to motivate the staff and lighten the moods of our patients by holding staff birthdays and get together which are shared with patients.

Laparocsopy Clinics
Dr. J. Njagi
Dr.Joe Njagi is an obstetrician-gynecologist(OB-GYN) and a Laparoscopic surgeon based in Kenya. He is the founder of Laparoscopy Mashinani, an organization that was started in 2016 with the aim of bringing affordable surgical services to rural communities in Kenya. Dr.Joe has been accorded a Presidential award for his selfless contribution to women's health, especially in the rural areas, through his Laparoscopy Mashinani initiative.

Star Specialist Hospital holds quarterly blood drives. This is in a bid to assist fill the gap currently experienced in the Country and lack of blood in the banks.
It is our hope that everyone who needs blood for any medical procedure at Star Specialist Hospital can get assistance without any difficulty.

It is our professional obligation to ensure we impact our staff lives positively by including value addition to their existing skills.
This is done by monthly CMEs where staff members discuss topics on different aspects of medicine ranging from current trends, introduction of new technology in the market and constant education on patient relations.
